Investor Kits
Compact, full-log cabin kits milled in Kalkaska and shipped ready to raise — built for owners and investors who want the warmth of a real log home in a footprint that pencils out. A rental cabin, a guest house, a lake getaway, or a first home.
Each kit is built the honest way: 8" full log walls, full-log interior walls, and exterior gable log siding — the same stock and the same craftsmanship that goes into our full custom homes, packaged at a size and a price that make sense when the cabin needs to earn its keep.
The logs are milled on-site in Kalkaska, Michigan, from timber we source through family-owned Michigan businesses, and every corner is hand-fit with our signature saddle joint — the same joinery we’ve been building into log homes for over six decades. Nothing about the kit is a downgrade; it’s the full Beaver Log Homes system, simply sized for a smaller footprint.
Trim is not included. Shipping is included in the kit price — kits ship worldwide, crated and ready to raise on your foundation.
Matineda II and Little Moon share a 24′ × 32′ footprint — Matineda II adds a full loft for just over a thousand finished square feet, while Little Moon keeps it to a single level at a lower entry price. The Tiny Home trims the footprint down further still, for the smallest lots and budgets. Roof materials aren’t included on any of them — that keeps the kit price honest and lets you source roofing locally.

Estimates only — not financial advice. Short-term-rental performance varies widely by location, season, regulations, amenities, and how the property is managed. Figures assume a finished, furnished cabin and exclude financing, income taxes, and any appreciation. Run your own numbers for your market before investing.
